 D'après Asma Bint Yazid , le Prophète  a dit :
 « Celui qui défend l'honneur de son frère alors qu'il est absent, c'est un devoir pour Allah que de l'affranchir du feu ».

(Rapporté par Ahmed et authentifié par Cheikh Albani dans Sahih Targhib n°2847)


In english:  

By  Asma Bint Yazid , the Prophet said : 
«Those who defends the honor of his brother while he is away, it's a duty for Allah that to emancipate of fire ».

من ذب عن عرض أخيه بالغيبة كان حقًا على الله أن يعتقه من النار
