D'après Salman Al Farisi (qu'Allah l'agrée), un homme a dit: Al Hamdoulilah Kathiran (*).

Alors le Prophète  a dit: « L'ange lui a donné une telle importance qu'il ne l'a pas écrite et il est retourné vers son Seigneur la concernant. Il lui a dit: Ecrit là comme a dit mon serviteur -Kathiran- ».

(*) Ce mot en arabe signifie: en nombre très important.

Ainsi ce hadith est une incitation à répéter fréquemment cette invocation.

According to Salman Al Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him), a man said:  Al Hamdoulilah Kathiran (*).
Then the Prophet  said: « The angel gave him such importance that he did not write it and he returned to his Lord concerning it. He told her: written as told my servant-Kathiran- ».

D'après Abou Houreira (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète   buvait en trois respirations, lorsqu'il approchait le récipient de sa bouche il prononçait le nom d'Allah (1) et lorsqu'il l'éloignait il louait Allah (2). Il faisait cela trois fois.

• La description physique du Mahdi

D'après Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Le Mahdi est de ma descendance, il est à moitié chauve, son nez est long et bossu. Il va remplir la terre d'équité et de justice comme elle avait été remplie d'iniquité et d'injustice. Il va régner 7 ans ».

• Allah va arranger le Mahdi en une nuit

D'après 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète   a dit: « Le Mahdi fait partie de nous, ahl al bayt (*), Allah va l'arranger dans une seule nuit (**) ».

(Rapporté par Ibn Maja dans ses Sounan n°4085 et authentifié par Cheikh Albani dans sa correction de Sounan Ibn Maja)

(*) C'est à dire parmi les gens de la famille du Prophète .

(**) L'imam Ibn Kathir (mort en 774) a dit: « C'est à dire qu'il va lui pardonner, le guider, l'inspirer, l'orienter alors qu'auparavant il n'était pas comme cela ».

• Les gens vont prêter serment d'allégeance au Mahdi à proximité de la pierre noire à La Mecque

D'après Abou Qatada (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « On va prêter serment d'allégeance à un homme entre le coin et le maqam (1) et personne ne va porter atteinte au caractère sacré de cette maison sauf ses gens (2) et lorsqu'ils lui auront porté atteinte alors n'interroge pas concernant la perdition des arabes. Puis vont apparaître les abyssins qui vont la détruire et elle ne sera plus jamais habitée et c'est eux qui vont sortir son trésor ».

(1) Le coin signifie -le coin yéménite- qui est l'un des coins de la Ka'ba et le maqam est le -maqam Ibrahim- qui est situé tout proche de la Ka'ba.
Ce qui se situe entre le coin et le maqam est la pierre noire.

(2) C'est à dire que ce sont les gens du Haram, les habitants de La Mecque qui vont lui porter atteinte.

L'imam Ibn Hibban (mort en 354) a rapporté ce hadith dans son Sahih sous le chapitre: « Mention de l'endroit où l'on va prêter serment d'allégeance au Mahdi ».

L'imam Ibn Kathir (mort en 774) a dit: « Le Mahdi promis viendra à la fin des temps. Il va sortir du côté de l'est et les gens vont lui prêter serment d'allégeance auprès de la maison sacrée (la ka'ba) comme cela est mentionné dans le hadith ».

• Les richesses, la pluie, la végétation et le bétail seront abondants à l'époque du Mahdi qui va distribuer l'argent de manière équitable et la communauté va se développer

D'après Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Il y aura parmi vos califes un calife qui donnera l'argent de manière abondante et ne le comptera pas ».

D'après Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Le Mahdi va sortir à la fin de cette communauté. Allah va faire descendre la pluie et la terre sortira sa végétation. Il va donner l'argent de manière équitable et il y aura beaucoup de bétail. La communauté s'agrandira et il vivra 7 ou 8 ans ».

• The physical description of Mahdi

According to Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri (raa), the Prophet  said : «The Mahdi is of my progenity, he is half bald, his noz is long and hunchback. He will fill the earth with equity and justice as it was filled with iniquity and injustice. He will reign seven years ».

(Reported by Abu Dawud in his Sunan No. 4285 and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in his Sunan Abi Dawood correction)

• People will swear allegiance to the Mahdi near the black stone in Mecca

Imam Ibn Kathir (d. 774) said:«The promised Mahdi will come at the end of time. It will come out the side of the east and the people will take the oath of allegiance to the sacred house (Ka'bah) as it is mentioned in the hadith ».

(Al Wa Bidaayah Nihaya vol 19 p 62)

• Wealth, rain, vegetation and livestock will be plentiful at the time of the Mahdi who will distribute the money fairly and the community will grow

According to Abu Said Al Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet said: «There will be among your caliphs a caliph who give money so abundant and do not count ».

(Narrated by Muslim in his Sahih No. 2914)

According to Abu Said Al Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said:  «The Mahdi will emerge at the end of this community. Allah will bring rain and the earth out vegetation down. He will give the money in an equitable and there will be plenty of cattle. The community will grow and he will live seven or eight years ».

Le Mahdi est un homme que Allah va envoyer à la fin des temps lorsque la terre sera remplie d'injustice et de mal, lorsque la vérité aura été oubliée, lorsque le désordre sera répandu. C'est à ce moment qu'Allah va envoyer cet homme comme dirigeant qui rendra meilleur les créatures et va montrer la vérité.

• La situation dans laquelle le Mahdi sera envoyé

D'après Qoura Ibn Iyas Al Mouzani (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Certes la terre sera remplie d'iniquité et d'injustice. Quant ce sera le cas, Allah va envoyer un homme de ma descendance dont le nom est le même que le mien. Alors il va remplir la terre d'équité et de justice comme elle avait été remplie d'iniquité et d'injustice ».

• Le Mahdi sera envoyé à l'époque de la descente de 'Issa Ibn Maryam (que la prière d'Allah et son salut soient sur lui) qui va prier derrière lui

D'après Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Il y a parmi ma descendance une personne derrière qui 'Issa Ibn Maryam va prier ».

D'après Jabir Ibn 'Abdillah (qu'Allah les agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « 'Issa Ibn Maryam va descendre et leur émir, le Mahdi, va dire: Viens prier pour nous comme imam. Il dira: Non, les uns sont les dirigeants des autres. Ceci est une faveur d'Allah pour cette communauté ».

• Le Mahdi porte le même nom que le Prophète (que la prière d'Allah et son salut soient sur lui) et son père porte le même nom que le père du Prophète (que la prière d'Allah et son salut soient sur lui)

D'après 'Abdallah Ibn Mas'oud (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Même s'il ne restait qu'une seule nuit de la vie d'ici-bas, un homme de ma famille prendrait certes la gouvernance, son nom est identique au mien ».

D'après 'Abdallah Ibn Mas'oud (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Même s'il ne restait qu'une seule journée de la vie d'ici-bas, Allah allongerait certes cette journée jusqu'à ce qu'il y envoie un homme de ma famille dont le nom est identique au mien et le nom de son père est identique au nom de mon père. Il va remplir la terre d'équité et de justice comme elle avait été remplie d'iniquité et d'injustice ».

• Le Mahdi fait partie de la famille du Prophète  . Il est de la descendance de Fatima (qu'Allah l'agrée)

D'après Abou Houreira (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Même s'il ne restait qu'une seule nuit de la vie d'ici-bas, un homme de la famille du Prophète  prendrait certes la gouvernance ».

D'après Oum Salama (qu'Allah l'agrée), le Prophète  a dit: « Le Mahdi fait partie de ma descendance, il est parmi les enfants de Fatima (*) ».

The Mahdi is a man whom Allah will send at the end of time when the earth is filled with injustice and evil, when the truth has been forgotten, when the disorder is prevalent. It was at this time that Allah will send this man as leader who will best creatures and will show the truth.

• The situation in which the Mahdi will be sent

According to Ibn Iyas Al Qura Muzani (raa), the Prophet  said: « Certainly the earth will be filled with iniquity and injustice. As this will be the case, Allah will send a man from my progeny whose name is the same as mine. Then he will fill the earth with equity and justice as it was filled with iniquity and injustice ».

(Reported by Al Bazar and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in Silsila Saheehah No. 1529)

• The Mahdi will be sent at the time of the descent of 'Isa ibn Maryam (as the prayer of Allah and His salvation be upon him) who will pray behind him

According to Abu Said Al Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said: « There are among my offspring a person behind whom 'Isa ibn Maryam will pray ».

(Reported by Abu Nouaym and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in Sahih Al Jami No. 5920)

According to Jabir Ibn Abdillah (may Allah be pleased), the Prophet  said: « 'Isa ibn Maryam will descend and their amir, the Mahdi, will say: Come pray for us as imam. He will say: No, some are leaders of others. This is a favor from Allah for this community ».

(Reported by al-Harith ibn Abi Usama and authenticated by Sheikh Albani in Silsila Saheehah 2236)

• The Mahdi has the same name as the Prophet  and his father has the same name as the father of the Prophet .

According to 'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said: « Even if it was remaining one night in the life of this world, a man of my family will take certainly the governance, its name is identical to mine ».

(Reported by Ibn Hibban and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in his Sahih Ibn Hibban correction No. 5923)

According to 'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said: « Even if it was remaining one night in the life of this world, Allah will lengthen certainly this day until that there sends a man from my family whose name is identical to mine and his father's name is identical to the name of my father. He will fill the earth with equity and justice as it was filled with iniquity and injustice ».

(Reported by Abu Dawud in his Sunan No. 4282 and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in his Sunan Abi Dawood correction)

• The Mahdi is part of the Prophet's family. He is of the descendant of Fatima (raa)

From Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said: « Even if it was remaining one night in the life of this world, a man of the Prophet's family will take certainly the governance ».

(Reported by Ibn Hibban and authenticated by Shaykh Albani in his Sahih Ibn Hibban correction No. 5922)

According to Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet  said: « The Mahdi is part of my progeny, it is among the children of Fatima (*) ».

• Parmi les points que nous pouvons tirer de ce hadith :

- l'immensité de la miséricorde d'Allah

- le mérite de la nuit du milieu de Cha'ban

- la gravité d'être en conflit avec un musulman

- la gravité de pratiquer l'association à Allah et l'importance pour le musulman de connaître l'association et ses différents types afin de pouvoir s'en écarter

According to Ibn Jabal Mou'adh (raa), the Prophet  said:  «  Allah considers her creatures on the night of mid-Sha'ban, then he forgives them all except for the idolater and the one which is in conflict with his brother ».

• Among the points that we can learn from this hadith: 

- The immensity of Allah's mercy 
- Merit the night of mid-Sha'ban 
- The seriousness of being in conflict with a Muslim

By  Samoura Ibn Joundoub, the Prophet   said:  « Assist to reminder and go near to imam (*) because certainly a man no cease to get away  until that it is delayed in paradise even if go in ».
