Une 'Omra durant le Ramadan / A 'Umrah during Ramadan

D'après Ibn 'Abbas (qu'Allah les agrée), Oum Souleym (qu'Allah l'agrée) est venue vers 
le Prophète  et a dit: Abou Talha et sont fils sont partis faire le hajj et ils m'ont laissé.
Le Prophète  a dit: « Ô Oum Souleym! Une 'omra durant le ramadan équivaut à un hajj avec moi (*)».

(Rapporté par Ibn Hibban dans son Sahih n°3699 et authentifié par cheikh Albani dans Sahih Targhib 
n°1118)
(*) C'est à dire que la personne qui fait une 'omra durant le mois de Ramadan obtient la même récompense qu'un pèlerinage effectué avec le Messager d'Allah  mais cela ne signifie pas qu'il sera dispensé de faire le pèlerinage qui est le cinquième pilier de l'Islam.

 In english:

According to Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased), Oum Souleym (raa) came to
the Prophet  and said: Abu Talha and his son are gone to Hajj and they let me.
The Prophet  said:   « O Umm Souleym! A 'Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj with me (*) ».

(Reported by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih 3699 and authenticated by Sheikh Albani in Sahih Targheeb No. 1118)

(*) This means that the person doing 'Umrah during the month of Ramadan gets the same reward a pilgrimage performed with the Messenger of Allah but that does not mean it will be provided to make the pilgrimage which is the fifth pillar of Islam.
